Best photoBooks 2014 by …

Best photoBooks 2014 by Christopher J. Johnson. Zine Collection #18: Rêves de Femmes By Renée Jacobs: Though this collection seems to pick up where Jacobs’ Paris left off, Rêves de Femmes has another layer of appeal; its small size and collectable C print bring it over from the world of books to the world of fetish object in the sense of something that can be hidden, enjoyed on the sly, fawned-over and, in short, coveted! Rêves de Femmes is available here: https://editionsbessard.com/

“Mineral"Typography …

“Mineral"Typography Designed in 2013 by Benoît Bodhuin. Mineral is a glittering writing, fractured into multiple tetragonal splinters, rectangular modules slightly spaced, like quartz and pixels. A Kapla style construction, with stencil properties – Solid version – however offers to the font a great readability. Mineral Solid has 2 stylistic titling alternatives: Border and Outline. Best photoBooks 2014: Thijs …

Best photoBooks 2014: Thijs Groot Wassink & Ruben Lundgren TREPAT by Joan Fontcuberta Editions Bessard. The master of “photography make-believe” did it again. Please have a look for yourself, but we can say you will never look at people like Man Ray or Richard Avedon in the same way again. Published together with a brilliant exhibition, this book confuses the viewer. Not only with the photographs but also with the absolutely genius way Fontcuberta puts them in context. TREPAT is available here https://editionsbessard.com/ 33 copies is left.
