The book is about my past. I was born in the former GDR – East Germany. I met nine people who grow up with me together in a typical housing area and talked with them about what they can remember and what changed in their life after the fall of the wall. I tried to catch their emotions and took pictures in and around the housing area. Together with some archive-material I put everything together in a layout for the book. It is a kind of personal documentation.
