Opening of the exhibition: “New Visions of Chinese Photography: Poems & Collections” Ren Hang, Bessard Collection & Lin Zhipeng (nº223)
REN HANG is a young photographer, poet and provocative, who explores the possibilities of the body through an extrovert and joyful sexuality, producing perfect photographs on a spontaneous and creative way, which form audacious and funny sculptures of the human body.
EDITIONS BESSARD will present a considerable part of their magnificent collection of books and objects, which reveal the endless narratives that serve as motto for a journey through the myths and visions oh the new Chinese photography.
LIN ZHIPENG (also known as “No. 223”) introduced by Pierre Bessard, reveals an intimate dis-course, looking to highlight the singular essence of the Chinese youth in portraits, dazzled by the light and by sharp contrast, imposing an attractive idyllic drama.
